Welcome to Delaware Metal- a networking nexus for Delaware bands, bands who play in Delaware, bands who want to play in Delaware, and the people who pay the cover charge to see them all.
Help us make this a great site- if there is anything you can think of that we couldn't, please feel free to drop us a line with some constructive ideas.- Admin

News
Just posted some pictures from the July 10th show at The Ground Floor (pictures courtesy of Ruffage's Metallikate - thanks 'Kate!). You can find them at the "Live Shots" page.
Current renovations have been completed.
We have entered into an agreement to host photos taken by Metallikate. Her latest pictures are from the August 4th WASP show at The Bottle and Cork. She does a lot more than take pictures- check out her site: www.geocities.com/metallikate/index.html .
We have been in negotiations with Delaware's One-And-Only Metal Ambassador, Metallikate, for improved content. Hope to have some new stuff up for youse soon.
Now up- a quickie Halloween guide. Feel free to send us some info if you feel that we've missed something.
Sigh! Halloween has come and gone- took down the quickie Halloween guide.
Coming soon! The "Featured Band" page is a little place where you can have your musical skills displayed. You don't have to be an active band, or a band at all (for you home recording artists). It's a little bit like show-and-tell, with a way for people to contact you if they have any feedback, questions, or booking requests.
The "Featured Band" page is now up!!!! Thanks to Metallikate and the Thunderbrew guys (our first Featured Band) for making this happen!!! Check it out!
New "Featured Band"!!!! Check out World Lost!!!
Recent changes in bar/tavern/club management at The (former) Prime Times Room and The Pale Dog Tavern- both in Newark, Delaware- have left original music bands with fewer venues to rock. The former Prime Times Room (I've lost track of its many names since then), now called The Equator Lounge, has not to date been booking rock bands (it changed ownership last summer). We're waiting to see what happens with The Pale Dog Tavern- rumor has it that they are only interested in booking cover bands. If that is so, I hope they cover their butts and pay the RIAA/ASCAP royalty fees that the music industry has been enforcing as of late (The Rusty Rudder in Dewey got into some trouble at the end of 2007 in respect to this royalty payment business).
