World Lost's music can be compared to the thrill of being buffetted by a Category 1 hurricane. There is no thin, peep of a sound here- the music has a full sound with crisp drums, surgically precise guitars, smooth and groovy bass lines, and vocals remniscent of the two Phils (Anselmo and Rind) as well as Kirk from Crowbar.
Wilmington's World Lost formed in July/August of 2006 and began playing out shortly afterwards.On June 9th, 2007, the fellas released their well-regarded debut CD "Season in Black". The year 2007 saw a change in World Lost's line-up: Nate departed for another bass playing opportunity and Shawn moved to another state.
If you enjoyed catching them at The Trocadero Theater in Philadelphia in May of 2007, make sure you catch their return to the Troc on January 27th, 2008.
